Pay the Tourist Tax to the City of Venice.
To ensure sustainable management of tourist flows and preserve the uniqueness of Venice, on specific days in 2025, a contribution is required to access the city.
The contribution applies from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Exempt individuals must register (see notes in the full description).

April 2025: 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
May 2025: 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31
June 2025: 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29
July 2025: 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27
The contribution is not required from 4:00 PM to 8:30 AM.

Residents of the Municipality of Venice and those born in the Municipality of Venice are exempt from payment and do not need to obtain an exemption voucher. They simply need to present a document proving their status.
Minors under the age of 14 are exempt from payment. If their age is not immediately apparent, proof can be provided by presenting a document. Holders of the European Disability Card (Disability Card) and their accompanying person are also eligible for exemption by presenting the card, without the need for registration on the portal.
